Labradoodle Puppies for Lake Geneva, WI Families

Lake Geneva pulls two kinds of families to us, year-round Wisconsin residents and Illinois families with a second home on the lake, and both end up making the same drive south to Kirkland. Whichever camp you fall into, we would rather you meet the parent dogs and see the farm in person than take anything on faith.

Out-of-State, Not Out of Reach

Crossing the state line does not change how we work with a family. Wisconsin buyers go through the exact same process as our Illinois families, deposit, farm visit, health documentation, and pickup, with nothing extra required on your end since we are a licensed breeder handling interstate placements regularly.

For families splitting time between Illinois and a lake house here, timing pickup around a weekend at the lake tends to work out well, and we are happy to help plan around that.

How the Process Works

A $500 deposit, fully refundable, secures your place on the waitlist, and puppies are chosen in the order deposits are received. The total cost is $2,500, due at or before pickup, and we accept cash, checks, credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle, with free financing available if you would rather spread out the cost.

Getting Here from Lake Geneva

~60 minutes away

Expect roughly an hour from Lake Geneva to our Kirkland farm, heading south through Walworth County and across the state line. It is a scenic drive most of the way, and several Wisconsin families tell us it barely feels like an hour once they are on the road.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is buying a puppy from an Illinois breeder complicated for Wisconsin residents?

Not at all. We handle interstate placements regularly, and the process for a Wisconsin family looks identical to an Illinois one, same deposit, same visit process, same paperwork. There is no additional licensing or documentation required on your end simply because you live across the state line.

How far is Kirkland from Lake Geneva, WI?

Roughly an hour, heading south through Walworth County and crossing into Illinois. Most of the drive is on open roads without much traffic, so it tends to feel shorter than the mileage suggests.

What happens on pickup day?

Around 8 weeks old, your puppy comes home with a binder covering the parents and health record, sample puppy food, two stainless steel bowls, a few toys, a collar and leash, and a blanket carrying the scent of the litter to ease the transition. Bring a carrier for the ride, especially for the drive back up to Lake Geneva.

Do you offer any support after we bring the puppy home?

Yes, we partner with Trupanion for 30 days of free coverage through our Go Home Offer, and we remain available for questions long after pickup, regardless of which state you live in. If circumstances ever change, we will always take back a puppy or adult dog we placed rather than see them rehomed elsewhere.

Can we visit the farm on a weekend trip up to the lake?

Yes, many Lake Geneva families schedule their visit around a weekend at the lake house, since the timing works well either heading up or heading back. Just let us know your general availability and we will find a time that fits.
